About Us

The Global Center for Health Diplomacy and Inclusion (CeHDI) is a new Swiss registered Foundation committed to build robust strategic partnerships among like-minded countries to promote and actively drive sustainable and collaborative change for Global Health Equity and the Right to Health. It also amplifies and facilitates the inclusion of the priorities and voices of the Global South within the Global Health Architecture and negotiations based in Geneva. Born from the urgent need to rectify the global health inequities exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and other health crises, CeHDI aims to foster dialogue for global health equity, the right to health and to protect our gains in global health.

Your Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor key global and regional scientific and research outcomes pertaining to global health equity and summarize for global advocacy and key decision-making process.
  • Monitor the development of key global policies and guidelines relevant to global health equity and the right to health to identify opportunities for advocacy and action.
  • Regularly monitor resolutions and outcome documents related to global health equity and the right to health in multilateral organizations and analyze their relevance for advancing the missions of CeHDI.
  • Identify and collect primary and secondary data, including reports, studies, and statistics related to global health equity, right to health and the threats to our global health gains including on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
  • Conduct key informant interviews and other qualitative methods to collect relevant data and information that are relevant to the mission of CeHDI.
  • Identify, assess and analyze relevant regional and subregional data on global health equity and present disparities in access to healthcare and counter measures and mortality rates across populations and regions including on women and children.
  • Prepare reports, policy briefs, resolutions, briefing notes and infographics.
  • Identify successes, failures, and gaps in global health equity using different channels of data collection.
  • Review available literature and documents and identify opportunities to strengthen south-north partnership in key areas of global health equity and right to health and protection of gains in global health.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and educational background.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in global health and an international environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis and statistics.
  • Excellent writing skills. Track record of peer reviewed publications is an advantage.
  • Ability to extract, synthesize, and present data for policy dialogue and action.
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment.

Education

Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences, Public Health, Social Sciences or related field; PhD is an advantage.
